Ladd Environmental Consultants, Inc. was incorporated in 1973 by six engineers to continue providing civil engineering services that were previously performed under Ladd Engineering Associates, Inc. The original Ladd Engineering Company (subsequently renamed Ladd Engineering Associates, Inc.) began in 1938.

James Payton, P.E.
Principal, BS Agricultural Engineering, MS Agricultural Engineering from Auburn University. Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama and Georgia. James has been with Ladd since 1997 as a Design and Project Engineer. He has experience with all aspects of Engineering Services offered by Ladd.
Adam Lea, P.E.
Principal, BS Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama at Huntsville. Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. Adam has been with Ladd since 2004 as a Design and Project Engineer. He has experience with all aspects of Engineering Services offered by Ladd.
Evan Morgan, P.E.
BS Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama and Georgia. Evan joined Ladd in 2019 as a Design and Project Engineer. He also had 12 years of experience as a consulting engineer prior to joining Ladd. He has experience with all aspects of Engineering Services offered by Ladd.
Darrell Sears
Darrell (Principal) has been with Ladd since 2014 as a Designer and Project Manager. Darrell had 13 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment and collection, and natural gas distribution design prior to working at Ladd. He also had 19 years of experience with TVA in Engineering and Project Management.
Alan Boydston P.E.
BS Electrical Engineering from Auburn University. Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama and Georgia. Alan has been with Ladd since 2023 as a Design and Project Engineer. He also has 34 years of experience as an electrical engineer prior to joining Ladd. Alan performs Electrical Engineering Design as well as other services offered by Ladd.
Corey Baker, PLS
Registered Land Surveyor in Alabama, Design Drafter, GPS/GIS Technician. Corey has been with Ladd since 2012 and had 13 years of experience prior to this in engineering and land surveying.
Kevin Holcomb
Land Surveyor Associate, Design Drafter. Kevin has been with Ladd since 1985.
Tina Shrader
Design Drafter, Senior CAD Operator. Tina has been with Ladd since 1988 and specializes as a CAD operator.
Scott Blevins
Scott has been with Ladd since 1986 and currently works part time as a Land Surveyor Associate.
Suzanne Rucks
Administrative Assistant. Suzanne has been with Ladd since 1997. She provides clerical support for bid documents, reports, contracts and correspondence and serves as a receptionist.
Trinka Payton
Administrative Assistant. Trinka has been with Ladd since 2015. She provides receptionist duties, clerical support for project administration and assists with printing, shipping and human resources.
